A military vet, accused of murdering a woman in Harlem and stuffing her body in a suitcase after smashing her in the head with a frying pan before strangling her, has confessed to the crime.
Hassan Malik, 55, after initially telling detectives he returned to his East Harlem apartment on December 22, to find Betty Williams, 28, dead, told prosecutors on Tuesday he had committed the brutal murder, reports nydailynews.com.
A Manhattan Criminal Court judge ordered Malik be held without bail.
