Michael Jackson was rehearsing feverishly for a 50-show run of concerts at London’s O2 Arena, before his sudden and tragic death. Jackson had said that these shows would be his last ever in the British city.
Jackson, who was rehearsing at the Staples Center last Wednesday night on June 24th, had completed a full run- through of his concert, along with his entire team of singers, musicians, dancers and choreographers. He had planned to fly to London early the following week for final rehearsals for performances that were to begin on July 8th.
Observers say that, the King of Pop, was in high spirits, energetic, optimistic and focused, as he rehearsed at the Staples Center.
By noon on Thursday, June 25th, Michael Jackson was in cardiac arrest.
Michael Jackson was 50 years old when he died.
