The Orange County Sheriff’s Office busted nine men who thought they were hiring prostitutes for sex, but they were actually soliciting undercover deputies.
The OCSO included a message to stop human trafficking with the announcement of the arrests.
“Don’t come to Orange County looking to pay someone for sex. If you do, you’ll be arrested and make an appearance on our social media,” the Orange County Sheriff’s Office posted.
According to SAFE, the Strategic Alliance to Fight Exploitation in Central Florida, Florida has ranked 3rd in volume of calls to the National Human Trafficking Hotline every year since 2007 and Orlando is the 3rd ranking US City (per capita) in volume of calls to the National Human Trafficking Hotline.
