McDonald’s Bundles Helping Families in Need

There’s a delicious way to partner with McDonald’s to help local families in our community. Central Florida area McDonald’s restaurants have come together to raise funds for local Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) Chapters serving families with ill or injured children through a new, exclusive Chicken McNuggets® and fries bundle.

With every McNuggets bundle sold, 50 cents will be donated to local RMHC Chapters. To further show support, customers can also round up their purchase to the nearest dollar. Our local McDonald‘s supports RMHC in multiple ways, including bundles, rounding up, and last year’s Drive-Thru Challenge which brought in more than $440,000 for Central Florida RMHC Chapters.

“We are continuously so grateful for the support of our local McDonald’s Owner/Operators,” said Clay Osburne, President & CEO of RMHC of Central Florida. “Their continued fundraising efforts provide easy ways for our community to support our Houses, which is crucial for helping  us provide comfort and care for families caring for their ill or injured child at a pediatric hospital right here in Orlando.”

Launched at the start of 2022, the 40-piece Chicken McNuggets® and two large fries bundle is now available in all central Florida restaurants. The bundle is only $15.99 and available year-round, in store or through the app, and again $0.50 from each bundle will directly benefit local RMHC Chapters.

Beyond the bundle, McDonald’s customers can also choose to round up their purchase to the nearest whole dollar or place their spare change in our donation boxes to support RMHC. McDonald’s Owner/Operators also donate a percentage based on French Fries and Happy Meals® sold to their local RMHC Chapters.

The new item will help the houses in Central Florida continue to serve families of children receiving lifesaving and life changing treatments in regional hospitals. While the COVID-19 pandemic forced many RMHC houses to close their doors to new patients, reinvigorated efforts like this delicious, do-good menu option raise awareness and vital funds to combat increased  costs and losses in funding.

The McDonald’s Central Florida Operator Association consists of 391 restaurants across the region, independently owned and operated by 51 local businessmen and women. McDonald’s restaurants serve a variety of menu options made with quality ingredients to more than 25 million customers every day. For more information, visit www.mcdonalds.com.
