Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs opened the 2013 Orange County Economic Summit Thursday morning. The economic summit is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. through 11:30 a.m., and is being held at the Orange County Convention Center, located in Room 320 of the North Concourse.
Orange County is reporting more than 500 RSVPs for the event. Residents can also weigh in on social media as the County is actively promoting the event on Twitter (hashtag #OCSummit) and Facebook.
“Over the past year, we have assisted in 11 economic development projects in Orange County that promise to bring more than 1,100 new jobs to our community,” Mayor Jacobs posted online this morning.
