On Thursday morning, at approximately 6:00 am, two masked black males entered the Burger King located at 5515 International Drive brandishing a gun and a knife. Both suspects jumped the counter and attempted to force the manager to open the safe. The manager was unable to do so due to it being on a time delay. The suspects then took money from both cash registers before exiting and entering a vehicle. No injuries to any employees.
There was a black male, approximately 35 yrs old, with a noticeable burn mark on his neck and right shoulder area that entered the store and purchased an orange juice just prior to the robbery.
OPD have now identified this ‘person of interest’ who could be a potential witness to the robbery that occurred.
