Marion, Orange County Detectives Work to Solve Murder of Missing Man

Detectives are treating the death of a missing Marion County man whose body was found in Orange County, as a homicide.

Jeffery Todd Aaron – deceased

The body of 41-year-old Jeffery Todd Aaron was discovered yesterday by a county worker in a grassy area at the end of Donny Brook just south of State Road 50, around 9:00 a.m., Thursday.

Aaron was last seen alive by his roommates on Tuesday, around 7:20 p.m., in Marion County, ocala.com reports. It is believed he left the residence to visit a friend near Westport High School.

Aaron’s vehicle, a white Chevy pick-up truck, was located in an apartment complex in Volusia County, authorities said. The Holly Hill Police Department located the truck after Marion County issued a BOLO (be on the look out) for it.

Felicia Aaron, Jeffery’s ex-wife called police on Wednesday, to report that she had not heard from him which was highly unusual, the paper also reported.

Investigators have determined that, although Aaron’s body was found in Orange County he was killed in Marion County and all evidence gathered so far points in that direction.

Orange County Sheriff’s detectives have turned the case over to the Marion County Sheriff’s detectives and are cooperating in the investigation.

Anyone with information should call Detective Ryan Robbins at 352-369-6881 or the Marion County Sheriff’s Office at 352-732-9111 or Crime Stoppers at 352-368-7867. You could earn up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
