A man was shot several times on Tuesday evening on Westfield Street, off Silver Star Road and it appears that the rounds were fired from a white Impala which sped away down Pine Hills Road, Orange County Sheriff’s deputies said.
According to OCSO:
At approximately 7:12 pm today July 6, 2010 Orange County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the call of shots fired near 5524 Westfield Street. Upon arrival they found a male subject who was the victim of the shooting. He was transported to ORMC where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The shots appear to have been fired from a white Impala which fled down Pine Hills Road.
Investigators say there were multiple occupants in the suspect’s vehicle.
Detectives are continuing with their investigation. They have not released the identity of the victim.
