A man was carjacked and shot early on Wednesday morning in the 1900 block of Lake Atriums Circle off Honor Road, Orange County deputies say.
The victim was leaving an apartment around 5:00 a.m., when multiple suspects forced him into his car. After driving a couple blocks, the man was shot in the face with what appears to be a rifle, deputies also say. He was taken to the Orlando Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The carjacked vehicle – an older model black BMW – was located in the area of 4600 Conley Street. Deputies say, the vehicle was set ablaze and is badly burned.
The suspects are still at large.
