A man was shot dead following a physical altercation on Orange County’s west side and deputies are calling the shooting death a justifiable.
Investigators said, the shooting happening at a home in the 5300 block of Falling Water Drive off N. Hiawassee Road, just before 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.
The dead man is U’Darrious Slater, 23.
Investigators also said, there was a verbal altercation which turn physical and shots were fired by two men. Slater was pronounced dead on the scene.
A woman on the scene was injured from the gunfire. Â She was transported to the Orlando Regional Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Deputies have not identified the shooter, but said the shooting was justifiable. Â The case is being filed with the State Attorney’s Office for review.
