Man Shoots Girlfriend Multiple Times Wanted for Attempted Murder

Detectives are searching for a man who is accused of shooting his girlfriend multiple times in Auburndale on Tuesday evening.

Randall Scott Miller, 44, is accused of shooting his 53-year-old girlfriend Mickie Pickern three times in the area of Lake Van Road and CR 559, Polk County deputies say.  Pickern, who miraculously survived, was shot once in the back of the head, once in the side of the head and once in the face, deputies also say.

Miller, who is wanted for attempted murder and kidnapping, is described as a white male,  5’11” tall, 200 lbs., with brown hair cut in a crew cut, blue eyes, a Marine Corps tattoo on his left arm, and a scar over his left eye. HE IS TO BE CONSIDERED ARMED AND DANGEROUS.

Miller’s last known address is 563 Cone Road #1 in Auburndale. He may be driving a white 1998 Chevy pickup truck, with FL tag K29 7TL.

Miller has been previously arrested in Polk County for battery, domestic violence and child abuse.
