A man robbed a Gamestore this morning of cash and video games and then shot a clerk before fleeing the store.
Today, December 21st at approximately 10:15 am, a black male suspect walked into the Game Stop at 2781 N Hiawassee Road pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the store clerk. The preliminary investigation reveals the clerk complied with the suspect’s demand for money and video games however the suspect shot the clerk in the lower body, the clerk was taken to the hospital and has received non life-threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as a black male, 6′, 35 – 40 years old 225- 245 lbs wearing a dark scarf over his face, baggy blue jeans and a black Nike baseball cap.
If anyone has information regarding this case they are asked to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office or Crimeline.
