A Miami man who shot and killed his wife because allegedly she was punching him, turned himself in to police, but not before posting a graphic photo showing a blood-spattered woman on the floor on his Facebook page.
Derek Medina, 31, allegedly admitted to murdering his wife, 26-year-old Jennifer Alfonso, according to news reports.
“Im going to prison or death sentence for killing my wife love you guys miss you guys takecare Facebook people you will see me in the news,’ he wrote. ‘My wife was punching me and I am not going to stand anymore with the abuse so I did what I did I hope u understand me.’ Â He also added:Â ‘Rip Jennifer Alfonso.”
Police who went to the couple’s home in the 5500 block of SW 67th Avenue discovered Jennifer Alfonso’s body.
