A 52-year old Brandon woman was listed in serious but stable condition at Halifax Health Medical Center after she was accidentally shot by her boyfriend while the two were hog hunting off County Road 305, the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office said, news-journalonline.com reports.
Steven Egan, 52, and his girlfriend Lisa Simmons were inside a hunt tent in western Flagler County on Saturday evening when Egan saw a hog and shot at the animal.
Egan told deputies he was unaware that Simmons had left the tent. Simmons was shot in both upper legs.
