A man believed to be connected to the Boston Marathon bombing suspects was shot and killed by an FBI agent on Wednesday morning in Orlando.
Ibragim Todashev, 26, from Chechnya, was shot dead in an apartment in the 6000 block of Peregrine Avenue in the Windhover Apartments near Universal Studios. The agent acted on an “imminent threat” and Todashev was killed, according to news reports.
Todashev was being interviewed by FBI agents regarding his connection to the Tsarnaev brothers – Tamerlan and Dzhokhar – the two Boston bombing suspects. It is not clear if he was directly connected in any way to the Boston bombings.
