The driver of a Chevy van was killed early this morning on Florida’s Turnpike in Osceola County, Florida Highway Patrol said.
Hubert Anderson, 46, of Tamarac, Florida, lost control of his vehicle when a tire separated and his van overturned.
Anderson was heading northbound around 7:15 a.m., on the Turnpike near mile marker 217 when the crash occurred.
He was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead on the spot.
Leslie Anderson, 67, a passenger in the vehicle suffered serious injuries.
Troopers say, the crash remains under investigation.
