The name of the deceased is Robert Jackson, 28, of Orlando, Florida Highway Patrol reported.

A passenger in a vehicle was killed on Silver Star Road, after the driver of a Ford Escort lost control and struck a tree, Florida Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened just before 10:30 p.m., near Lake Street in Orange County.
Troopers have not identified the 28-year-old male passenger who died on the scene, pending notification of next of kin.
Erica V. Hardwick, 23, of Orlando, was heading eastbound on Silver Star Road, when troopers say, for an unknown reason she lost control of the vehicle. The right side of the 1999 Ford Escort struck a tree.
Harwick suffered serious injuries and was transported to the Orlando Regional Medical Center. Toxicology results are being awaited to determined if alcohol played a role in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation and charges are pending, troopers said.
