A man was killed on the Florida Turnpike on Monday afternoon, after he lost control of his vehicle, Florida Highway Patrol said.
Troopers have not released the identity of the victim but said, the man was traveling northbound on the Turnpike near mile marker 246 in Osceola County, when he lost control of the Lexus SUV he was driving. Â The SUV left the roadway, overturned and traveled over the center guardrail, ending up on its roof in the southbound lanes.
The unnamed man, the only occupant of the SUV, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash happened just after 1:30 p.m.
