The driver of a Toyota Tacoma was killed on Thursday night on County Road 452 in Lake County, after he was ejected from the vehicle when it over-turned.
The unnamed 67-year-old Umatilla driver was heading north on CR 452Â just after 9:00 pm, when his vehicle exited off of the roadway onto the east shoulder.
Troopers said, the vehicle crossed over the opening to Yale Court, continued northbound, striking a telephone box. The car then struck a utility pole, overturned, ejecting the driver.
The driver was taken to Waterman Hospital when he was pronounced dead.
FHP said that the driver was not wearing a seat belt.
Toxicology reports are being awaited to determine whether or not alcohol played a role in the crash.
