A pedestrian was killed on Wednesday night while attempting to cross U.S. Highway 192.
The accident occurred just before 8:00 p.m. near World Drive in Osceola County.
Troopers said, the 26-year-old man from Davenport was crossing US Highway 192, from the south side to the north shoulder when he walked into the direct path of an Audi driven by 46-year-old William Jagers, of Orlando.
The unnamed pedestrian was hit and propelled to the north shoulder of the highway. The man was taken to Celebration Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Jagers sustained no injuries as a result of the crash.
Troopers said, the crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
