Man Injured after Multiple Shots Fired in Drive-by Shooting

Deputies are searching for suspects in a drive-by shooting which left a man suffering from a leg injury.

A man told investigators he was in front of his residence in the 100 block of San Blas Avenue in Buenaventura Lakes on Sunday night when a vehicle approached him and its occupants fire.  The shooting happened around 11:00 p.m.

One shot struck the man in his leg for which he received minor medical treatment.

The victim described the vehicle as a black Jeep Cherokee with tinted windows and custom black rims. The man also said he didn’t know the suspects and could not see the driver of the vehicle.  The front seat passenger was wearing a red shirt and a hat, he told investigators.

Calls made to Crimeline remain anonymous, and tips that lead to the felony arrest of suspects and/or the recovery of stolen property and drugs are eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000 dollars.
