A 31-year-old man has been indicted for killing two at an Orlando after-hours business.
An Orange County grand jury formally indicted Christopher Haynes for two counts of First Degree Murder (with a Firearm).
According to the State Attorney’s office, in the early morning hours of March 23rd, the two male victims attended a party that was held after hours at a business on North Pine Hills Road in Orlando. The shooter approached one of the victims and began firing multiple times, striking the man. The second victim was standing nearby and was also hit multiple times by gunfire.
Investigators with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office obtained video from the party. Haynes was identified on video by several people in attendance. Deputies tracked him down in Tennessee.
He was interviewed, arrested and charged with the murder of the two men.
On June 26th, the State presented sufficient evidence to a grand jury to secure indictments against Haynes for two counts of First Degree Murder (with a Firearm).
