Man in Stable Condition after Wednesday Morning Stabbing

A victim is in stable condition after he was stabbed by a suspect early on Wednesday morning, Orange County Sheriff’s deputies said.

Investigators responded to 2814 Kinlock Drive around 7:00 am, after receiving a 911 call regarding an aggravated battery with a knife.

The caller told investigators that his neighbor was stabbed by a known male and the suspect fled in the victim’s vehicle.

The vehicle was described as a black four-door Lexus.

Deputies searched the area for the vehicle and located it at the intersection of State Road 50 and Chickasaw Trail.  The vehicle was followed for a short distance and deputies observed the suspect bail out into a wooded area near Stratford Boulevard and Lady Joe Way.

Deputies set up a perimeter around the area and a K-9 was deployed.

The suspect, realizing he was surrounded with no way out, called 911, advising he wanted to turn himself in.  Deputies secured the suspect without further incident.

Investigators said, the victim was transported to the Orlando Regional Medical Center and is in stable condition.

Deputies have not released the name of the victim or suspect.

The investigation is ongoing.
