Police are searching for a man who robbed a Walgreens store located on International Drive early on Sunday morning.
The unidentified suspect entered the Walgreens at 6201 International Drive around 2:45 a.m. and approached the clerk. The man placed two pencils on the counter as if he was going to purchase them, put his hand in his pocket and told the clerk he had a gun.
Police say, the man demanded money and the clerk complied. The suspect fled the store in an unknown direction, with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a black male, 25-30 years old, about 5’ 5”- 5′ 6”, weighing about 175-180 pounds. He was wearing a black coat, black pants and a hoodie, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
