Man Critically Injured after Shots Fired at B’Day Party

A man is in critical condition and another person was injured, after shots were fired early on Saturday morning.

The shooting occurred just before 2:30 a.m., at a birthday party in the 4500 block on Charleen Terrace, off Silver Star Road.

Investigators say, those involved in the shooting fled the scene, but one victim in need of medical attention was outside the residence. He was treated and transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center in critical condition.   He was unable to provide any information, deputies said.

A second victim was treated at Health Central hospital.

Deputies spent several hours at the scene gathering evidence and information that could assist in identifying the individual(s) responsible for the shooting.
