An elderly driver was found dead behind the wheel of his vehicle on the Interstate 4, early on Monday morning, Florida Highway Patrol said.
A road ranger found 79-year-old Louis Oliver, of Alexandria, Virginia, sitting in the driver’s seat of his 2012 Lincoln SUV passed out, troopers said.
Oliver was near Lake Mary at mile marker 98, in Seminole County, with the car engine still running.
Troopers had to break a window of the Lincoln to gain access.
Oliver appeared to have suffered a heart attack, troopers said.
The medical examiner will make the final determination on cause of death.
