In separate incidents, two teens were attacked by a man armed with a knife early on Monday morning, Orange County deputies say.
Authorities say, a 16-year-old Colonial High School female student was walking to the bus stop on Black Creek Boulevard near Fox Hollow Drive just after 6:30 a.m., when she was approached by a white male suspect. The man who was armed with a knife, attacked the teen and appeared to have been frightened off, when a vehicle approached.
Shortly after the first attack, a second female, 17-years-old, was approached and grabbed by a man. The teen was able to free herself and the man fled the scene.
Authorities believe that the attacker is the same in both incidents.
The suspect is described as a white male, about 5’10” to 6’0″ tall, with a thin build. The man was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black shorts and flip flops.
Deputies say, no one was injured in the attacks. A spokesperson for OCSO said, patrols have been beefed up in the area where the attacks took place.
