A man was arrested in an Orlando murder that took place at Summerlin Avenue and Palmer Street near downtown in July 2023.
Earlier this month, Herlin Petion was apprehended by U.S. Marshals in Dayton, Ohio.
According to the Orlando Police Department, Petion is facing charges of Second Degree Murder with a Weapon.
On Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 7:39am, a citizen called 9-1-1 to report a vehicle crash at the intersection of Summerlin Avenue and Palmer Street, according to local law enforcement.
When officers arrived, they found the victim, Terrance Dolan, inside the vehicle with injuries that did not appear consistent with a motor vehicle accident. Dolan was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased.
