The man who deputies say shot and killed the driver of a pick-up truck before it careened into a house on Orange County’s west side, has been arrested.
Stephen Bocicault, 23, is accused of shooting to death D’eonta Rogers, 19, the driver of the pick-up truck.
One of two passengers in the truck, Thomas Martin, 20, and Jabaris Kilpatrick, 35, sustained multiple gunshot wounds in the shooting, which happened on Densen Drive on June 4.
Deputies say, the motive for the shooting was an ongoing dispute between Bocicault and one of the passengers in the truck.
Three persons were injured after the pick-up crashed into the home located at 5939 Westbury Drive – an adult female, a 16-year-old and a 4-year-old. They have since been treated and discharged from a local area hospital.
Bocicault has been charged with first degree murder and two additional counts of attempted murder. He was booked into the Orange County Jail on Thursday.
