A man was recently arrested for a 2024 Central Florida homicide.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office filed additional charges against the man in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred in June 2024 in North Tampa.
On June 17, 2024, deputies responded to a 911 call just before 3pm reporting gunfire in the roadway near Regents Park Drive and Bruce B. Downs Boulevard. When deputies arrived, they discovered an adult male deceased at the scene.
34-year-old Terrance Robinson was previously arrested on July 23, 2024, for accessory after the fact in this homicide investigation.
Following an extensive and ongoing investigation, new evidence confirmed Robinson’s involvement leading up to the shooting. As a result, he is now facing a murder charge for his role in the incident that led to the victim’s death.
On May 8th, Robinson was taken into custody by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office before extradition back to Hillsborough County.
Robinson faced charges of Robbery and First-Degree Felony Murder.
“This individual thought he could avoid accountability, but our detectives remained relentless,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “Violent acts like this will never be tolerated in Hillsborough County. I hope this arrest brings some measure of peace to the victim’s loved ones, knowing justice is being served.”
This is an active investigation, according to local law enforcement.
