A man who investigators say, stabbed another man to death and wounded three others in a domestic violence incident in Apopka early on Sunday morning, is now in custody.
Daniel Leija, 23, a Hispanic man, has been charged with one count of murder and three counts of attempted murder, Orange County deputies said.
Leija is accused of stabbing Marcos Alvarez-Jiminez, 22, to death, in a home located at 10 South Apollo Drive in Apopka. Deputies say, he also stabbed three other people – one man and two women – who were also in the home.
According to deputies, Leija is known to the victims.
Investigators have not released the names of the other three victims who were taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center. All are expected to recover from non-life threatening injuries.
It is not clear what led Leija to murder Alvarez-Jiminez and to stab the other victims.
Leija was booked in the Orange County Jail and is being held without bond.
