The Maitland Area Chamber of Commerce will host its 26th Spring Festival of the Artsaround Lake Lily in Maitland (641 Maitland Avenue) on April 12 and 13, 2014. The show features up to 150 artists and craftsmen around the lake. There will be sponsors of the event giving away prizes and information.
Lots of fun food will be there for the tasting such as Kettle Korn, Funnel Cakes, sandwiches, wraps and much more. The Performing Arts of Maitland will play music throughout the two days. Listen to jazz and big band sounds while looking at all the art and craft items for sale. Clowns will be doing face painting and balloon art.
The Art and History Waterhouse Residence located on site will be open for tours. The Maitland Library will be having a book sale on the library lawn both days of the show.
Parking is available and is being handled by the Boy Scouts. It is $5/car. There is no charge for the event.
