Police won’t say what the connection might be between Cheyanne Nowak, 23, and Daniel Porter, 24, and missing firefighter, 31-year-old Jerry Perdomo.

Perdomo, of Orange City, drove a 2011 Gold Toyota Camry rental car from Florida to Bangor, Maine. The car was found abandoned on Friday in the Walmart parking lot on Stillwater Avenue in Bangor. He failed to show up for work on Sunday.

Earlier this week, his family notified the Seminole County Fire Department that Jerry was missing and they had not heard from him since he left on his trip.

Seminole County Fire Chief Leeanna Mims said, “We are deeply concerned and in hope of safe news as to where he is.”

According to news reports, Perdomo’s wife has flown to Bangor to help in the search for her husband.
Two firefighters from the Seminole County Fire Department plan to travel to Maine to join in the search efforts, wdbo.com reports.

Bangor said the investigation into missing firefighter Perdomo is continuing.
