NBA basketball star, Gilbert Arenas made his debut with the Magic last week in Orlando, but besides being missing off the court, he is also “missing” from his three children and pregnant girlfriend, Laura Govan, reports The Washington Post.
A representative of Govan, who is expecting Arenas’ fourth child, told the Washington Post, Arenas has cut off communication and funds from Govan and the kids. Laura Wright, Govan’s publicist said that Govan “has not heard from Arenas the whole month of December”, in an e-mail statement. “Govan and the children feel like they have been abandoned”.
Arenas told The Post after his December 20 debut with the Magic, he was so eager to move that he bought a same-day ticket to Florida the minute he’d heard about the trade: “I went to the airport and left. I didn’t have a chance to say bye to anybody. I didn’t even say bye to the kids.”
