The Orlando Magic have opened a one-stop shop for fans at the team’s Official Playoff Headquarters in the Altamonte Mall, the Magic announced today.
Located in the lower level next to Sears, the retail store will have a vast selection of Eastern Conference Finals and Blue & White Ignite gear, including T-shirts, hats, jerseys and more that you can’t find anywhere else.
The store will be open for a limited time only and will operate from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from Noon-6 p.m. on Sunday.
As Blue & White Ignite for the 2009 NBA Playoffs, the Orlando Magic are also preparing special activities to ignite fans all over Central Florida for Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Some highlights of the fan activities surrounding Saturday’s game (8:30 p.m. tip-off) will include:
* Pre-Game Fan Fest for Game 6: The Orlando Magic are encouraging fans to support the team on Saturday, May 30 before Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals at the new and improved Fan Fest at Amway Arena. Beginning at 5 p.m., the Fan Fest will include live music and interactive games, while fans will be able to purchase retail and food and beverage items as well as have the opportunity to “Crush a Cavalier” car. Game 6 is sold out, but fans who do not have a ticket are also encouraged to be a part of the viewing party outside Amway Arena at Fan Fest, which will feature a big screen TV, bleacher seating and a live DJ.
* Game 6 Fan Activities: For Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals, Blue & White Ignite T-shirts will be placed on every seat at Amway Arena, and 18,000 light-up Thunderstix will be distributed at the doors. The national anthem will be performed by 7-year-old Gina Marie Incandela, and Magic Live in-game entertainment will be provided by the Orlando Magic Dancers, the Orlando Magic Dunking Dancers and the Rhythm ‘n’ Blue Drum Line.
