Magic knock off Bucks

Tobias Harris had a career game Wednesday night for the Orlando Magic.

Harris scored 30 points and snagged 19 rebounds in a 113-103 win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Magic center Nikola Vucivic added 20 points and 20 rebounds.

No pair of teammates had scored at least 30 points and grabbed at least 19 rebounds since 1967. Willis Reed and Walt Bellamy did it for the New York Knicks in a loss to the Baltimore Bullets.

Milwaukee guard JJ Redick had an emotional return to Orlando. This was his first game at the Amway Arena since being traded a few weeks ago.

“It’s so great to be home,” Redick said before the game.

Redick finished with 16 points on 6-of-16 shooting in the loss.

“I’m an emotional guy, you know that,” Redick continued.

The Magic played a tribute on the big screen for Redick during a timeout in the first quarter. The gesture brought tears to the eyes of JJ and his wife Chelsea who was also in attendance.

“Just a classy, classy gesture on the part of the Magic,” Redick said. “It’s something I’ll remember the rest of my life, for sure. I’m just very appreciative of that gesture. It’s awesome.”

Bucks forward John Henson scored 17 points, grabbed a career-high 25 rebounds and blocked seven shots.

“I felt I played well but it wasn’t enough,” Henson said post game.

The Magic blew an eight point fourth quarter lead but were able to close the game out in overtime.

Orlando (20-59) will host the Boston Celtics Saturday night, top off is 7pm.
