Magic bounce Cavs

Jameer Nelson’s 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists lead the Magic to a 108-104 win over the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers Friday night.

Magic made 11 out of 23 three point attempts, shooting 52%.

Arron Afflalo chipped in 19 for Orlando who have now won two games in a row.

“It means a great deal to me to get this win,” said Glen Davis post game.

Davis finished with 16 points and eight rebounds. “We need to get as much games as possible and try to get back to .500 and compete for the chance to be somewhere in the postseason.”

Playoffs may be a long shot for the Magic, playing consistent and mistake free basketball needs to be the short term goal.

Dion Waiters scored 25 points for Cleveland, while Anderson Varejao added 19.

It gets no easier for the Cavaliers who have lost seven of eight without star point guard Kyrie Irving, and now travel to play the Heat Saturday.

As for the Magic (5-7) , they host the Boston Celtics Sunday, tip of set for 6pm.
