Magic Announce Television Schedule for Season

The Orlando Magic will have 59 regular season games telecast live on both Sun Sports and FOX Sports Florida, all in High Definition. 32 games will be aired on Sun Sports, while 27 will be shown on FOX Sports Florida. In addition, both preseason games will be telecast on FOX Sports Florida, beginning on Sunday, December 18 @ Miami (6 p.m. tip).

David Steele (play-by-play) and Matt Guokas (analyst) are back to call the games, with Paul Kennedy hosting “Magic Live” pre- and postgame coverage. Kennedy will be joined by former Magic players Nick Anderson and Jeff Turner throughout the season. Sun Sports and FOX Sports Florida also showcase the Magic with their behind-the-scenes, TV series “Inside the Magic” and the team’s half-hour program, “Magic Overtime with Dante and Galante,” which is currently in its fourth season.

On Sunday, December 18, FOX Sports Florida will premiere the “Orlando Magic Preseason Special,” immediately following the Magic-Heat game. Hosted by Paul Kennedy, the 30-minute program will include interviews with Dwight Howard and Stan Van Gundy, and a look ahead to the 2011-12 NBA season.

Orlando will open training camp on December 9 at the Amway Center. The Magic’s complete schedule is available through their official website: orlandomagic.com and on foxsportsflorida.com. Orlando opens its regular season on Sunday, December 25 at Oklahoma City (7:30 p.m. pre-game show, 8 p.m. tip, SUN). The Magic then return to Amway Center for their home opener on Monday, December 26 vs. Houston (6:30 p.m. pre-game show, 7 p.m. tip, SUN).

The best way for fans to guarantee seats for the 2011-12 campaign is by purchasing Orlando Magic season tickets. Season tickets, partial plans, group and single-game Amway Center suite rental opportunities are on sale now. Ticket highlights include: 2,500 seats priced $20 or less, 8,000 seats priced $40 or less and 9,000 seats priced $50 or under. The NBA and its teams will have more than one million tickets available to fans for $10 or less over the course of the season. Single-game tickets will go on sale Tuesday, December 13 at 10 a.m.
