As the greater Orlando region continues to reopen businesses and reduce restrictions related to the COVID-19 crisis, LYNX will resume operating a normal schedule and routing starting on May 11th. LYNX also announced they will not charge fares through the end of May and will still require rear door entry to protect bus operators and riders. Seating will be in designated spots only and there will be a maximum number of passengers allowed based on bus size.
Passengers to wear a face mask or covering while on board, but it is not required during the coronavirus pandemic.
LYNX will continue to follow all recommendations set forth by the Center for Disease Control and local health departments to safely move passengers throughout Central Florida. If customers are sick or travel isn’t essential, the agency is requesting those customers to please stay home and not ride LYNX.
LYNX Central Station’s terminal lobby including bathrooms are still closed to the public during the 11 p.m.-5 a.m. Orange County mandatory curfew.
