The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said today that, the manner of death of a multi-million dollar Florida lottery winner was “homicidal violence”.
Last week, Abraham Shakespeare’s body was found under a concrete slab in the yard of a Plant City home.
Shakespeare, 43 years, and a Lakeland resident, had won $31 million in the Florida Lottery in late 2006. He had taken a lump-sum of $17 million. Sometime last year, he disappeared completely and was last seen around April, friends and family have said. He was reported missing on November 9th 2009.
A “person of interest” has been named by the Sheriff’s office, and no one has yet been arrested.
Shakespeare’s body was found at the boyfriend’s home of the woman who has been named a “person of interest”.
The Sheriff’s Office said that, in order to protect the integrity of the investigation, no other information was being released or interviews were being conducted at this time.
