There are five other verified sinkholes within 0.5 miles of the home where a man was swallowed up by a massive sinkhole last week, CoreLogic, a major data and analytics firm confirmed Tuesday.

CoreLogic pinpointed the home on Faithway Drive in Seffner, Florida, where 37-year-old Jeffrey Bush died, after a massive sinkhole opened up beneath his bedroom. And the data and analytics firm confirmed that, there are 16 verified sinkholes located within a mile of the 240 Faithway Drive home where Bush lost his life.  Last week-end authorities took the decision to demolish the Bush family home after the sinkhole continued to expand.

On Monday, a second sinkhole opened at 1204 Cedar Tree Lane in Seffner and according to CoreLogic, around this location, there is another sinkhole within 0.1 miles. The company also noted that there are seven sinkholes within 0.5 miles and 23 within 1.00 mile, of the Cedar Tree Lane address.

Florida has the largest number of sinkholes in the United States, with more than 15,000 verified sinkholes in the state.  Pasco County has the largest number of verified sinkholes at 6,174, CoreLogic said.
