The City of Longwood will host the 2nd Annual Chili-Cook Off in conjunction with the monthly car show on Saturday, November 8th from 4:00 – 6:30pm. Buy a tasters kit in advance for $5.00 or on the day of for $7.00. Tickets sold out last year so make your plans to attend early!
Not only will there be great chili, there will be music by DJ Don, beer, and wine available for purchase as well as hundreds of gorgeous show cars to see!
Spoiler alert: The chili competition is promising to be one fierce (and tasty) rivalry. Last year’s winner from the fire department is scheduled to receive spicy challenges from across the region. Newcomers to this competition, Baby Mo’s Chili, sponsored by Tropical Air of Central Florida, have a proven track record and are looking to take the crown.
Who will be this year’s reigning champion? I have my bets but only YOU control the outcome. I know I will be at the event, wearing an apron, and having a blast.
