On Saturday, Feb. 1st the community of Lockhart was privileged to host the first of a new series of conferences called “Greater Than,” featuring a selection of heavy hitters that were each given a short segment of time to speak, similar to the format of the popular TEDTalks.
This first conference’s focus was Making Business Significant, and significant it was. More than 170 business owners, entrepreneurs, professionals and students were registered from around Central Florida, including the West Orlando community.
The 1/2 day conference featured the likes of Mark Nation (of Nation Law Firm), John Rivers (of 4R Restaurant Group) and other highly successful leaders that are making a difference in Orlando.
Future Greater Than conferences will center around other important issues such as social justice and education. The next conference is planned for Summer 2014, and will be announced on the Greater Than website at http://www.GreaterThanConf.com
