Local Democrats will gather for a DNC Convention watch party in Orlando as Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris accepts the nomination.
The Orlando watch party will take place tonight from 7:30pm to 10pm (unless Democrats go late). The event is hosted in partnership with The Orange County Democratic Party.
“Together, we’ll witness our Democratic nominee for President VP Kamala Harris share her vision for a brighter, more inclusive future for America,” the Democratic invite says. “Be a part of this incredible evening with fellow Democrats who are passionate about making a difference and find out how you can get involved in the campaign to ensure a Democratic victory in 2024.”
Florida Democrats understand that enthusiasm and energy are needed now more than ever. They are promising a “fun night of unity, inspiration, and commitment to the Democratic ticket,” in an election year where they hope to challenge Republicans in the Sunshine State.
Interested Central Florida Democrats must register online to receive the address location and additional information.
Orlando Congressman Maxwell Alejandro Frost is also scheduled to deliver an evening speech on the main stage at the DNC Convention on the final day, but possibly just before the local watch party as he is tentatively scheduled in the 6pm CT hour.
