Local Attorney Sponsors Mock Trial Tournament at UCF

Auto Justice Attorney and UCF alumnus Michael T. Gibson of the Orlando-based personal injury law firm Michael T. Gibson, P.A. (www.autojusticeattorney.com), is a local sponsor of the American Mock Trial Association’s Orlando Regional Tournament. The UCF Mock Trial Team will host the two-day tournament on Saturday, February 16th and Sunday, February 17th.

“It is a great honor and privilege for me to be able to give back to the University that gave me so much.  The relationships I built and the educational experience I had at UCF have provided me the chance to live a life I only once dreamed of.  I hope all of the participants in this tournament get to do the same,” said Michael T. Gibson.

The annual regional tournament will take place on UCF’s main campus in the Health and Public Affairs Building (HPA1). Undergraduate students will be traveling from across the United States to compete in four rounds of mock trial competition. Saturday and Sunday will consist of a morning round and an afternoon round. Each trial will consist of two teams competing from different schools. One team will represent the plaintiff and the other team will represent the defendant in the civil case provided. Each of the four trials will last approximately three hours.
