“Raising our Sights” is an innovative Lighthouse Central Florida fundraiser where attendees embark on an immersive journey to better understand what it’s like to live with varying degrees of vision loss. At the experiential breakfast, attendees will participate in select interactive activities to “see” the world through the eyes of those living with vision loss.
On Friday, September 13th, Lighthouse Central Florida is hosting its inaugural “Raising Our Sights” event. In addition to the interactive activities to “see” the world through the eyes of those living with vision loss, guests will also hear inspirational stories and learn how Lighthouse Central Florida helps them live, learn and earn with visual loss.
The event is free and limited space is available. Guests must register to attend. Sponsorship packages are also available starting at $1,500.
Proceeds from the event will support Lighthouse Central Florida’s vision rehabilitation services, which are free for individuals of all ages throughout Orange County, Seminole County and Osceola County. Last year, 990 individuals living with blindness and vision loss and their families were impacted by the Lighthouse Central Florida mission.
