Liberty’s Legacy Launches Campaign to Support Military Children

Liberty’s Legacy, in partnership with the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Family Programs Directorate, announces the unveiling of the “2010 Liberty’s Legacy Project for Military Children,” an initiative to support and honor military children for their sacrifices. This project will provide Military Children with a unique educational gift, which includes a replica of The Statue of Liberty made with materials from the 1984 restoration of The Statue of Liberty, a certificate of authenticity, a collector’s unique identification number, a historic overview and fun facts about Lady Liberty.

“Many military children are experiencing long and often repeated separations from their deployed parents” explains Ms. Kidd.  “We understand how important it is to acknowledge these children and to show our appreciation to them.  Even a small token of our appreciation, such as this tangible symbol of the freedom that they and their parents are helping to preserve, goes a long way in relieving some of the turmoil and anxiety that often results from these deployments,” adds Kidd.

Americans have been called to action by this Administration to embrace and support military families.

“We are a company that accepts the challenge.  We call on every American to share in the gift giving honoring military children,” says Davis Lee, Owner of Liberty’s Legacy.
