LGBT Community Celebrates 2012 Elections

The 2012 election cycle saw progressive voices rise to local, state and national public service. The LGBT community has a chance to meet and greet the latest dignities and give their personal voice the reach it deserves to meet the ears of elected officials.

The Center, located on 946 N. Mills Ave, Orlando, Florida, will host a LGBT Community Reception for the elected officials in the Orlando area and allocated districts.

The elections of 2012 were historic for the LGBT community for many reasons, including the election of the first openly gay representatives in the Florida State House, David Richardson (D-Miami Beach) and Joe Saunders (D-Orlando).

The reception will be on January 31st, 2013 and begins at 6:30 pm and lasts until 8:30 pm.

Over-flow parking will be located across The Center at the nearby CFE Federal Credit Union.

There are two options for RSVP. One may e-mail directly to [email protected] or visit the Facebook event: http://www.facebook.com/events/184474481696214/
