In his new tell all book “Deer In The Headlights: My Life In Sarah Palin’s Crosshairs” 21-year-old Alaskan hunter and Playgirl Playmate, Levi Johnston opens up about his relationship with Sarah Palin’s daughter Bristol. Levi and Bristol had dated for 4 years, were twice engaged and have a son named Tripp Easton Mitchell Palin. (Tripp’s last name was recently changed from Johnston to Palin.)
Levi explains in his book, Bristol was jealous of Sarah Palin’s pregnancy with son Trig and decided to get pregnant to spite her Mom. In Bristol’s book “Not Afraid Of Life: My Journey So Far” she says her virginity was stolen. Levi responds to the allegation by saying it is false.
Given the bad press that Levi has been receiving, he decided to end his silence and write a book, hoping to defend his image. He wants his son to read the book later and hear his side.
Levi said on Dr. Phil’s Show on Wednesday, he loves being a father and says it was one of the best days of his life. He is seeking joint custody of his son.
Court documents state, Levi will pay monthly child support and visit his son on Wednesdays and Saturdays. However, he told Dr. Phil, he hasn’t seen his son in over a month. According to their custody agreement, both parents are not to slander one another in front of the child or in the media.
Relationships aren’t always easy and children never ask to be born but, it is important to have a friendly parenting relationship with your ex for the children’s sake.
