Lakeland Police Seek Public’s Help in Brutal Murder

Robin Nock Windsor, deceased

As the investigation into the brutal murder of a Lakeland woman continues, police said fliers will be distributed today in the area where she lived.

Robin Nock Windsor, 54, was found brutally murdered in her home at 1108 S Road 98, #H-85, on Friday, January 14, 2011, around 10:00 pm.   Police say that Windsor lived alone.   They declined to say how Windsor was murdered so as not to compromise the investigation.

Lakeland police do not have a suspect in custody at this time.

Police are attempting to reach out to the community with the distribution of fliers, hoping that someone may see the victim’s photograph and remember an encounter with her or recall other information that will assist in solving this case.

Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call the Lakeland Police Department at #863-834-6900 or crime stoppers at # 1-800-226-TIPS.    Callers may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
